  1. A Quick Read Packed with Value

An informational page-turner, this book won’t sit unfinished on your shelf. Instead, you’ll find yourself pulled through a journey of art appreciation with just enough art history and context to help you understand the reason why modern art is so compelling and worth your time and effort.

I really love the way the author has de-mystified the art world and answered all the questions the average person would have but didn’t know enough about art to ask. This book will make you want to explore your local art museums and galleries and to go there with the purpose of leaving more enriched, connected and curious about life.

I thought it was going to just be a reference book that would sit on the coffee table, but like art itself, this book is one to absorb thoroughly and allow it to fill your life with deeper meaning.

  2. Robyn Jamison has created a straightforward opportunity to look at art in the modern-day world.

This book is a practical resource, a primer that brings modern art into your everyday life, no matter how familiar you already are with art. You may be someone who may have never considered engaging with art as a past time or you may be a practicing artist in the world. Personally, I always found myself suppressed by galleries and modern art. However, after reading this book, I find myself looking at art with wonder.

This book takes you beyond what you already think and know about modern art.

    I highly recommend this book.

  3. This is one of the best books I have read, I am an artist, that was interviewed by the Author. Really good, read and leaves you with an access to art in ways you haven’t imagined yet. Enjoy… Anthony Schmitt

  4. I truly appreciate The Magic of Modern Art! It is so useful to have the observation points laid out so clearly. It’s not a book to keep on my shelf, but a book to keep handy on the coffee table. It’s there for ongoing review each time I’m headed for an exhibition. We live within walking distance of the Susquehanna Art Museum here in Midtown Harrisburg, so that’s a site I head for regularly as new shows open. What a niche your MAGIC fills!

  5. Great book!
